Banjo

Banjo is a former Victorian Gentleman’s Club restored and refitted into a European-style grand brasserie in the centre of St Helier. The design of Banjo is inspired by some of the world’s most stunning urban brasseries and bars, whilst retaining the pedigree and spirit of 8 Beresford Street, a historic St Helier building purpose-built for entertaining.

Commercial Electronics were called in to ensure Banjo’s sound, lighting and visual experience fitted the bill for this elegant restaurant-with-rooms.

What we did.

We installed an 8-Zone background music system that would cater for louder zones with DJ plug-in points in both Banjo’s Bar and Restaurant. Each zone of the QSC flush and surface loudspeakers have their own remote volume control, and are connected by a Cloud DCM-1 digital control zone mixer at the heart of the system.

In addition to the PA, we installed a 60-inch LED Smart Screen in one of Banjo’s plush meeting rooms to ensure full connectivity, as well as Freeview and internet. We also added five smaller Smart TVs to each of the attractive guest bedrooms at Banjo.

“Just a quick note to thank you all for everything you have done to get Banjo’s ITC network up-and-running. We are really delighted with the result and feel we have moved into a first class state-of-the art venue which will provide great customer service and comfort thanks in part to the ITC infrastructure.”
